Bokbok Bok BOK!!!!
So it's official!! My husband and his brother have finally gone nutso...lol not really they've just begun making this dream of farm life come true. We cleaned up the chicken coop and now we have 7 roosters and 7 hens. Why so many rooseters you ask?? We got them all for $20. Can't beat that. If they get out of hand then I guess we'll be having fresh chicken sooner than we thought. So far they've laid a total of 10 eggs. Yea pretty slow. We think the roosters are streesing them out or our dog Nelly. I guess Great Danes and chickens don't get along. Learned that the hard way. Welp, next stop PIGS!! Oink oink!!!!!

About Me...
Hi!! So you found my page. Lucky you. ;-) My name is Vai Coulson. I'm a city girl, but somehow my husband talked me into buying an old farm practically in the middle of nowhere. The town has a population of 2,500. Not bad I guess. Not remote. I am proud to say we now have a Subway. The farmhouse was built in the 1960's. An awful ranch. 3 bedrooms 2 bath and a horrible layout. Its had pigs, chicken and some cattle on it at one point. Old abandoned barns and ponds in desperate need of cleaning. We fell in love with the land and figured we can tackle it all together. With no experience farming or renovating we so signed on the dotted line. Now here we are, young and crazy, optimistic is what I'd like to think, building a home and family trying to put some life back in this old farm. This is all about my little family and ME renovating and remodeling. Failing and succeeding. Building our dream home and dream life.
